May Days

I'm catching up on our summer fun! We had a lot of busy, beautiful days in May. Here we are visiting all the baby animals at Wheeler Farm.

 Becca had fun playing on Great Grandma Shields Tire Swing. Grandma was kind enough to let us sleep over there while Natalie was running at the BYU invitational. We smashed in the fun that weekend by partying with Utah State friends @ Tim and Kelly's. (no pics, sorry!)

We did lots of real life and online cheering for Aunt Natalie! She took state, and placed 2nd at Nationals! What a speedy runner! We're excited for her to start at BYU this fall!

Allison had an awesome month! She took off walking everywhere, learned to climb up everything and hoards toys with her throughout the house. Her favorite hiding spot is inside the fireplace in the breezeway. She climbs in there and waits for people to find her!

Zoo trips! We bought an annual pass to the zoo just in time for the new exhibit to open. We love going to see the polar bear and all the new animals.

Dave threw me a suprise birthday party!

Dave's parents offered to watch our girls at our house, and soon after we left they called to say they were locked out of our house. We turned around to take them a key, and much to my surprise everyone was there~!

What I thought was going to be a nice dinner with the 2 of us, turned out to be a fun barbeque at our stake park! Thanks to all our loved ones who came! You guys are too nice! Sorry about all the wind! May weather is always tricky.

Last of all was the Bauman Reunion over Memorial Day. We had a backyard sleepover (that got moved indoors due to the rain.... but we set up the tents in the basement anyway!) and then Grandma and Grandpa had an awesome breakfast the next morning. After that we swam up a storm at cousin Michelle's house. What a fun tradition!!!

Next comes June! Yay for catching up!
