When the going gets tough....

...we go to St. George!

Right when the remodel was getting a little old (one month in) Dave's family had a getaway planned! It was so nice to pack up and get out of the cold for a weekend. While we were gone, we had the wood floors sanded, stained, and sealed. It was perfect because they were walkable by the time we got home!

We chose the bottom right stain, nutmeg, for our floors. I had nightmares our entire trip that it was the wrong color. But, lucky for me, we love it!

We stayed in a gorgeous 6 bedroom house with our own hot tub in the backyard. The kids loved sitting out there. So did the adults!

 Alli loved the cake, but was pretty quiet about the whole ordeal. (compared to Becca, at least!) After watching her chow down, we ate cupcakes and played, "Pin the Candle on the Cupcake!" The kids loved it!
